Anastasia Burya

I am an Assistant Professor at the University of Bern.

My research focuses on macroeconomics, with special emphasis on market power, labor market dynamics and household finance.

I combine quantitative theoretical models and granular microdata to identify the effects of agent heterogeneity in the economy. My work investigates the consequences of market power on firm price setting behavior and the distributional implications of monetary policy.
